Summer Fun!

Well, it has been a fun and crazy summer thus far! We have been really busy and definitely enjoying ourselves. My excuse for the time lapse since my last post is due to the fact that we have been out of town. So, that only means that I have a bunch to catch you all up on.

For starters, we made a family weekend getaway to Chicago to visit our friends PK & Laura along with PK's parents (Rich & Barb) who were so generous to put us up for the weekend. Needless to say we were very spoiled by PK's parents and can't thank them enough for their hospitality and generosity. Not only did they feed us the entire weekend (really good food I might add), but they took us to our very first Cubs game. It was fabulous! We had such an amazing weekend and really did enjoy our time with them all.

Thanks to Rich and Barb, Logan doesn't have to wait until her wedding day to ride in a limo...yes we arrived at the baseball game in style. It was so nice! I think she liked it. The whole gang at the game

Standing right outside of Wrigley Field...

Really enjoying our time with PK & Laura! Logan's first baseball hat (it is girlie I know, but still a baseball hat).

After our great weekend in Chicago, Logan and I were only home for a day and a half before we left for our little visit in Arkansas. It was time to see all our family again and unfortunately Brian could not make the trip back with us as he had to work. (Needless to say he was not so thrilled about being away from Logan for two weeks.) He eventually forgave me for taking her away. ;) So, since a picture is worth a thousand words - I will let them do most of the talking.

Logan's first airplane ride. Her favorite thing to do at Mimi's house...drive the boat. (She is her father's daughter!) Lots of time was spent at the pool...

Bathing Beauties!

We also made the drive out to see Logan's Great Grandpa & Grandma Turner. Just fun times with family and friends!!!

Finally...Jordyn and Logan's faces show exactly how most people feel when Logan has to leave. ;)
