Woooooooooo Pig Sooie!!!

Yes, despite the fact that we live in Kentucky...we are still Hog fans! Fortunately, we are not alone. Our friends the Weathers and the Halls are also from AR and big razorback fans as well. So, we all got together to watch the game this weekend and had a great time. I of course had to get a few photos of the girls in their hog outfits. Logan calls the hog Sooie, which is really cute. She also tries to call the hogs but I have not yet been able to get her to do it for the video camera. So, the pictures will have to do for now.

The End of Summer

As summer comes to an end, the girls and I try to spend as much time as possible outside enjoying the fabulous weather here in Lexington. We still love our pool of course, but Logan has also really taken a liking to the hose and her new little fort with a slide.

My Sweet Girls!!!
Logan had to use the floaty after Leighton was done...of course.
Helping me water the yard.
It was hard work, so she needed a drink.
All sunscreened up and ready for more pool time.
Leighton found her tongue this week, it is so funny. Just chilling under the umbrella watching Logan play.
Logan loves this slide/fort. I bought it at a kids resale shop and it was worth every penny!
GO!!!!! And we have to spend some quality time chasing Murphy around...
I love this picture, with the cheek hanging out and all.
We are definitely going to miss all the fun we have outside when Winter gets here!!!

The Greatest Show on Earth

Logan finally got both of her parents all to herself...we got a babysitter for Leighton and took her to the circus. Not just any circus, but the Ringling Brothers Zing Zang Zoom Show. We went with our good friends the Weathers and had a really nice time. Logan was fascinated with all the parts of the show that involved the animals. She loved the elephants, tigers, horses, zebras, and especially the dog show portion. She really was mesmerized by the animal shows, but didn't really pay much attention to the rest of it. I think her favorite thing was the fact that she shared the experience with her two boys Nicholas and Alexander (or Nic Nic & Axie as she calls them).

We had great seats, right behind the front rail, so it was perfect for the kids. It was pretty dark in the arena, so it was hard to get many great shots of the show.

Getting big...but still daddy's girl!
Just chilling with Axie (neither thrilled about getting their picture taken)
Really zoned in for some parts.

The Weathers' Clan
Logan really wanted this picture of the three of us to remember the great night!
